What you get today, in detail. Everything below is free during early access.
L, PL with close/undo, REC, POL (any number of sides, inscribed or circumscribed). Polylines keep arc segments (bulges) and widths from imported files.
C by centre and radius or typed value, A through three points, EL by axis endpoints or centre.
H: click inside any closed area – islands are detected automatically – or hatch a selection. Solid fill and ANSI31/32/33/37, NET, BRICK, CROSS, DOTS, INSUL, STEEL, EARTH, HONEY patterns with angle and scale. Custom patterns from DWG files are kept.
T single-line text with height, rotation and alignment; MTEXT from files is imported line by line. Any Unicode script.
W draws walls with real thickness, ROOM draws a closed outline and labels it with its name and area.
A library of electrical, plumbing, architecture and HVAC symbols, plus B to turn any selection into your own countable symbol with category, unit and price. Attributes per instance (CIRCUIT, ROOM…).
M, CO (multiple), RO (angle by point or value), SC, MI – text stays readable after mirroring, like AutoCAD's MIRRTEXT 0.
TR and EX with exact line/arc/circle intersections. Pick cutting edges or press Enter to use everything. Works on polylines with arc segments and turns circles into arcs.
F with any radius (0 makes a sharp corner and extends short lines), fillet all corners of a polyline at once; CHA with two distances.
O parallel copies of lines, arcs, circles and polylines; AR rectangular or polar arrays; S crossing-window stretch that moves only the vertices inside the window.
J chains lines and arcs into one polyline, BR removes a piece or splits at a point, X explodes blocks, polylines, dimensions and hatches.
Drag the blue grips of any selected object. Edit every property in the panel. MA copies layer, colour, linetype, text height, hatch pattern between objects. QSE selects by type, layer, symbol, colour or text.
Endpoint, midpoint, centre, quadrant, intersection, perpendicular, tangent, insertion point and nearest, each switchable, F3 toggles them all. Grid snap (F9) follows the visible grid.
F8 locks to the axes; F10 snaps the cursor to any multiple of the polar angle (45° by default).
x,y, @dx,dy, @length<angle, or just a length while pointing. Options like Close, Undo, Radius are typed on the command line.
DI distance and angle, AA area and perimeter, ID coordinates, LI lists every property of the selection. Selected objects show their total length and area in the panel.
Aligned (DIM), linear horizontal/vertical (DLI), radius (DRA) and diameter (DDI) with architectural ticks, configurable decimals and text overrides (<> keeps the measurement).
Create, rename, recolour, hide, lock and delete layers. Current layer, colour and linetype in the toolbar; change the selection's layer in one click.
Continuous, Dashed, Hidden, Center, Dashdot, Dot, Phantom, Border, Divide – the ISO definitions – per layer or per object, with a global LTSCALE. AutoCAD pen widths (0.00–2.11 mm) per layer or object, shown on screen (LW) and used in the PDF.
ByLayer, the 255-colour AutoCAD Color Index or any true colour. Plots as colour, grayscale or monochrome.
| Format | Open | Save |
|---|---|---|
| DWG R13 – 2018 | In the browser (LibreDWG/WebAssembly) | Through the companion server (ODA File Converter or LibreDWG) |
| DXF R12 – 2018 | In the browser, any Windows codepage or UTF-8; layouts become sheets | AutoCAD 2000 DXF with lineweights, hatches and layouts (R12 optional) – opens in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, LibreCAD, DraftSight, QCAD |
| – | Vector, to scale, one page per sheet with title block and pen weights, searchable text with embedded font | |
| CSV bill of quantities | – | Opens in Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice |
Imported: LINE, LWPOLYLINE/POLYLINE, CIRCLE, ARC, ELLIPSE, SPLINE, TEXT, MTEXT, INSERT with attributes and arrays, DIMENSION (aligned, linear, radius, diameter), LEADER, SOLID/3DFACE, HATCH. Skipped and reported: images, 3D solids, tables, viewports.
Every symbol instance is counted – including symbols nested in other blocks – with editable unit prices, cost per line and a grand total. Click a row to highlight every instance.
Closed polylines on ROOM/SPACE/ZONE layers become rooms named by the text inside them, with area, perimeter and the count of each symbol inside.
Line lengths per layer for cables, pipes and ducts; wall length, surface and volume; hatched areas per layer and pattern for flooring, tiles and paint.
CSV for your spreadsheet, or place the schedule as a table in the drawing. Take-off data travels in the DXF as block attributes, so AutoCAD's DATAEXTRACTION reads it too.
Any number of sheets per drawing, each a paper size with a viewport at a fixed scale. Drag the frame over the plan; it snaps to standard scales. Sheets are saved with the drawing and exported as AutoCAD layouts.
A built-in ISO title strip with project, title, client, drawn/checked, date, scale, revision and sheet number – the last three filled in automatically – or your own block with {PROJECT}-style placeholders.
Export one sheet or the whole set as a single multi-page PDF, with lineweights as pen widths.
Saves about two seconds after each edit and never more than fifteen seconds later; the toolbar shows Saved / Saving / Offline. Edits made offline upload when you're back.
Every save is a checksummed revision. Keep the last 10, one per 10 minutes for a day, one per day for a month, one per week after that. Restore any of them.
Drawings open in tabs like AutoCAD's file tabs. Switch computers and the newest version is there. Trash with "delete forever".
